After six weeks of online learning with the guidance of experts, Greenfield School students are equipped with basic programming knowledge and the ability to write simple applications.
Writing software after six weeks is FUNiX’s commitment to Greenfield School students participating in the Language of Future (LoF) program. The program started in April, with the goal of bringing about 100,000 Vietnamese teenagers to about 20 popular programming languages such as JavaScript, JavaCore, Python and so on. Nguyen Ha Dong, “Father” of Flappy Bird, was the first ambassador of the program.
Write the software after six weeks of online programming lessons
Each course in the program “Language of Future – LoF” lasts 6 weeks. Participants will learn by themselves with the help of a mentor to grasp the basic syntax of the programming language.
On April 6, the first phase of the program launched, launching the course in three languages: JavaScript, Java Core and C ++. FUNiX will select from candidate profiles to award 30 scholarships. Scholarship winners can choose one of the three languages to study.
Accompanying the program as an ambassador, Nguyen Ha Dong will award 30 scholarships and sign autographs on certificates. He also directly taught with short lessons on game development. Besides, Nguyen Ha Dong will have a face-to-face exchange with a FUNiX student and will guide students to perfect their game product.
Nguyen Ha Dong is a character who inspires young people who love technology through the success story of Flappy Bird game development. Sharing his opinion on game development, Nguyen Ha Dong said: “I think building a game is creating an ecosystem where the elements can combine meaningfully and interestingly in a very specific way. Intuitively, developers will seek to express these elements to players, encourage creativity, resource management skills, assertiveness and so on. Modern games need to become a means of connecting, not just making the player sit hugging the screen”.
Nguyen Thanh Nam, the founder of FUNiX affirms: “The participation of Nguyen Ha Dong in the program will inspire young people to discover the mysteries and beauty of programming languages”.
FUNiX representative said that programming language is considered a language of the future. If foreign languages help people in the world communicate with each other, programming languages help people communicate with millions of smart devices that are present around the world.
